Prism Auto Works had grown to the point where spreadsheets and paper job cards were creating real operational problems — jobs were being missed, technician workloads were unbalanced, and customers had no way to check on their vehicle status without calling in. The owner needed a system built around how Prism actually works, not a generic shop management tool with features they didn’t need and missing ones they did.

What We Built

• Custom Job Management Dashboard — Staff create, assign, and track jobs through a simple web dashboard. Technicians see their queue on a mobile-friendly view without needing to log into a desktop system
• Customer Portal — Customers receive a unique link via SMS when their vehicle is booked in. They can view job status, uploaded photos, and technician notes without calling the shop
• Parts & Labour Estimator — Service advisors build estimates directly in the system, which are sent to customers for digital approval before work begins
• Completion & Invoicing Flow — When a job is marked complete, a summary is generated and synced to their accounting system for invoicing

The Result

Prism Auto Works eliminated paper job cards entirely within two weeks of launch. Customer satisfaction improved noticeably — the portal meant customers were informed without needing to call. The owner now has a real-time view of all active jobs, technician status, and pending approvals from any device.
